Fazlani Aishabai College of Distance Education, functioning under Aishabai College of Education, is affiliated with Yashwantrao Chavan Maharashtra Open University (YCMOU). Established in March 2011, the Centre commenced its academic journey with programs including Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com – English Medium), Bachelor of Arts (B.A – Urdu Medium), Preparatory Courses (English and Urdu Medium), and the Diploma in School Management (D.S.M – English Medium).

In accordance with UGC norms, the Preparatory Courses (English & Urdu) were discontinued in 2022. Strengthening its academic offerings, the Centre later introduced the Master of Arts (Education) program, reaffirming its commitment to providing opportunities for higher learning and professional advancement in the field of education.

Since its inception, the institution has been steadily progressing under the guidance of Aishabai College of Education, providing flexible, accessible, and quality distance education that empowers learners to pursue academic excellence and career

Who Can Apply

Admissions to programs at Fazlani Aishabai College of Distance Education, a recognized study centre of Yashwantrao Chavan Maharashtra Open University (YCMOU), are offered as per YCMOU and UGC norms.

Eligibility Criteria:

For B.A. (Bachelor of Arts) and B.Com. (Bachelor of Commerce)

Candidates who have successfully passed Class 12 (H.S.C.) or an equivalent examination from a recognized board

are eligible to apply.

Candidates who have completed the YCMOU Preparatory Course are also eligible for admission to first-year

degree programs.

For D.S.M. (Diploma in School Management)

Candidates holding a Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline from a recognized university are eligible.

For M.A. (Education)

Candidates possessing a Bachelor’s Degree (B.A./B.Ed. or equivalent) from a recognized university are eligible

for admission.
